Transitional Kindergarten Administrative Staff Before-Care Kindergarten Preschool Preschool Enrichment Program Special Services & Programs Time For Two Transitional Kindergarten Transitional Kindergarten Enrichment Transitional Kindergarten is chartered by the Ohio Department of Education as a half-day Kindergarten. This program provides children an extra year to develop socially or academically before attending an all-day Kindergarten program. Our goal is to foster social and emotional development, collaborative play, and self-directed learning through a variety of experiences. Our programs focus on nurturing the child as a whole to foster independence, creativity, and a love of learning. Our curriculum integrates religion, fine and large motor skills, sensory and problem solving, music, science, arts and crafts, dance, and movement. Christine and her husband have three daughters, all of whom attended UPSK. She grew up in Massachusetts and graduated with a BS in Education from Wooster State University. Prior to returning to UPSK, she was a long-term substitute teacher.
